Newsome designed many posters advertising travel to India; some depict local scenes with famous landmarks, some depict local peoples and some, a combination of both. Here for a small, west Bengali town, she depicts one of the town's major structures, the mazaar of Pir Ghazi Mubarak Ali Sahab. It is a shrine in honor of a holy man whose intense meditation brought an end to a severe drought in the 17th century. Bengali version.
